Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Kawartha Branch of Ontario Ancestors with a genealogy fair and keynote address. Representatives from historical and genealogical organizations throughout Peterborough and the Kawarthas will be on hand to discuss their holdings and share information and resources. This is also a great time to learn how to get involved with local ancestry groups and learn about new online tools and collections.

The Kawartha Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society, Ontario Ancestors was formed in 1975. They are a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to supporting genealogical research in the Counties of Haliburton, Northumberland and Peterborough and The City of Kawartha Lakes (formerly Victoria County) in the Province of Ontario, once known as Upper Canada and Canada West.
